Pinnacle Country Club began as farm land in the serene rolling hills of Rogers, Arkansas. In 1988, with the goal of creating a superlative private golf course and gated community in Northwest Arkansas. A group of visionaries led by Berky Resources Corporation, developers and local golf enthusiasts, including the late James T. “Red” Hudson of Hudson Foods, transformed the pristine Rogers, Arkansas land into what was originally known as Champions Golf & Country Club. The Pinnacle Country Club Golf Course was originally designed by renowned golf course architect, the late Don Sechrest, with PGA TOUR great Bruce Lietzke serving as a consultant. The Golf Course opened for play in 1990, and true to their vision, the club rose to prominence as one of the most desirable private clubs in the region. In 2009, the Pinnacle Country Club Golf Course was redesigned by Randy Heckenkemper.
Along the way, Pinnacle Country Club, in Northwest Arkansas, has distinguished itself as a world-class venue for championship golf. Among the numerous high-profile events that have been staged on its perfectly sculpted links are the Greg Norman Challenge and the Phillips Classic. The course also serves as the annual host of the LPGA’s prestigious NW Arkansas Championship, featuring competition by some of the best female players in professional golf.
Pinnacle Country Club has also served as host to numerous high-profile personalities in the worlds of politics, sports and entertainment, including Prince Andrew Earl of Wessex, First Lady Laura Bush, President Bill Clinton, Greg Norman, Larry Bird, Wayne Gretzky, Glen Campbell, Dan Marino, Adam Sandler, Morgan Freeman, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Lady Antebellum, Paula Abdul, Kris Allen, Natalie Gulbis, Stacy Lewis, Christie Kerr, along with many notable LPGA players. Pinnacle Country Club is owned and operated by the Hudson family with Mike Hudson serving as President.

Gary Harp - Director of Security
Gary Harp has served Pinnacle Country Club as Director of Security since 1995. A native of Arkansas, he and his wife, Beverly, have one daughter, Amy, and a grandson, Logan. A licensed polygraph examiner, concealed handgun trainer, and former trooper with the Arkansas State Police, Gary brings expertise to his position at Pinnacle Country Club. Gary serves as Vice Chairman to the Arkansas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies. With his strong background in law enforcement and security training, Gary provides the residents and members of Pinnacle Country Club with the security and reliability they expect.
DJ Ransom - Head Golf Professional
DJ Ransom has 14 years of professional golf experience and has been the Head Golf Professional at Pinnacle Country Club since 2011. DJ is a graduate of The Golf Academy of the Carolinas and has been a Class A PGA Member since 2011. He believes in constantly improving the golf experience through outstanding customer service and player development programs. He is passionate about teaching players of all ages and skill levels to play and enjoy the game of golf.
DJ lives in Rogers with his wife Whitney and their two young children; Jackson and Emma Grace.
Chase Turpin - Golf Course & Grounds Superintendent
Chase Turpin joined the Pinnacle Team in 2006 and was promoted to Golf Course and Grounds Superintendent in 2013 after serving as the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent for seven years. He earned his Turf and Landscape Horticulture Degree from the University of Arkansas. Chase has had an interest in the game of golf since an early age and has been working in the golf course maintenance industry since 2001. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the GCSA of Arkansas in 2012 and 2013. One of Chase’s most memorable experiences was working overseas at The Old Course at St. Andrews where he aided in hosting the 2004 British Amateur Championship.
JD Hall - Tennis Director
JD Hall has just joined the Pinnacle Country Club Staff as Tennis Director in May 2011. Prior to his relocation to Northwest Arkansas, J.D. resided in Atlanta, Georgia where he worked at Country Club of Roswell as an Assistant Tennis Director for 9 years working with the junior and adult programs. Before the nine years at CCR, J.D. worked at the Windward Lake Academy working with top juniors from the state of Georgia. J.D. is a certified P-1 United States Tennis Professional and was named Head Tennis Professional of the Year in 2007 by the Georgia Professional Tennis Association. He also served on the USPTA Georgia State Board in 2007 and 2010.
Brandon Osuch - Executive Chef
Chef Brandon is a 2002 graduate of the New England Culinary Institute where he was awarded a position in the Advanced Placement Program. His passion for the culinary arts began at an early age from watching his grandmother prepare meals for his large family each Sunday and on Holidays.
Throughout his career he has been associated with three top fifty CMAA Platinum level clubs. He brings 18 years of experience in the country club food and beverage business. Most recently, he has served as Executive Sous Chef at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland which is the current #1 Platinum Level Club in America. Prior to Congressional, he worked as Sous Chef/Banquet Chef/Chef de Cuisine at Cherry Hills Country Club in Denver, Colorado. He also worked as the Fine Dining Chef in the Oak Room at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York before moving to Cherry Hills.
Meagan McClain - Membership & Marketing Director
Meagan has been a valued member of the Pinnacle Country Club team since February of 2012 when she was hired as Concierge. Her award-winning smile and attention to Membership Satisfaction impressed everyone, especially the owners and top management. Meagan’s media and marketing talents proved to be extensive and as a result, she was quickly promoted to the position of Media & Executive Support in 2013 where she focused on club marketing, maintaining the Pinnacle Country Club website, newsletter & social media accounts and club photography. During her time as Media & Executive Support, she happily assisted the Executive Management team; her main emphasis – Membership and Events.
She married her husband Matt in September 2017; they live in Gravette with their two daughters, Magnolia & Mattison.

Trevor Morgan - Food & Beverage Direcor
Trevor has been a important member of the Pinnacle staff since 2007, he has held a variety of positions in the Food & Beverage Department including; Waitback, Server, Bartender, Assistant Dining Room Manager and most currently Dining Room Manager.
Trevor is a Northwest Arkansas Native, he graduated from Decatur High School in 2007. He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in June of 2017 where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science.
When he’s not at work, Trevor can be found on the Golf Course or at a tailgate cheering on the Razorbacks. Trevor loves the Family Friendly Atmosphere that Pinnacle Offers.
Amanda Ziegler - Event Sales Director
Amanda Ziegler was born in Brownwood, Texas. She moved to Arkansas at an early age where she would attend the University of Arkansas and become a Razorback. Amanda started her Food & Beverage career working for Patina Restaurant Group at Arvest Ballpark in 2010. She progressed quickly in Food and Beverage Operations becoming Concourse Manager after her first year. She also spent some time as Suite Coordinator overseeing the catering for suite holders and guests. In the 8 years she spent with PRG, Amanda helped manage multiple large-scale events including; Walmart Shareholders, Bentonville Film Festival, Concerts and over 500 baseball games. She joined the Pinnacle Country Club team in May 2017. Customer service is extremely important to Amanda; she is very outgoing and greets everyone with a smile. She is looking forward to working with the entire Pinnacle team and meeting all members of Pinnacle Country Club. Amanda was promoted to the role of Event Sales Director in August of 2018. Amanda was happily married to her husband Brad in March 2017.
They live in Fayetteville with their fur babies Bernie Alfred and Izzy Deloris.

Nick Venter - Director of Maintenance
Nick Venter was born in South Africa and grew up in Johannesburg where he graduated in 1962. In 1963, Nick joined the South African Air Force and at the same time attended college [Mechanical Engineer]. In 1958, Nick married and became an assistant golf professional; played in the South African tour and attempted the European tour. Eventually went back to his trade and started to work in the gold and platinum mines in 1972. Was Mechanical foreman from 1975-1988. He then started a construction business and built apartments. He and his wife left South Africa in 1991 and moved to the United States, became proud citizens in 1998, and then Nick joined the Pinnacle team in 2001 as the Club Maintenance Superintendent.
Teri Hennessy - Accounts Receivable
Teri Hennessy has been in the Club business since 1983. She was the Tennis Director for clubs in the NW Florida Panhandle and Houston, TX before moving to Rogers, AR in 1991. She and her husband, Pat, were the Co-Directors of Tennis at Pinnacle and then in 2005, she became the sole Director when Pat was promoted to the GM’s position. In June of 2008, Teri ‘retired’ her position as Director and moved up to the Clubhouse to help with our communications and promotions of programs and events throughout the Club. Teri moved to the Accounts Receivable Office in the Spring of 2016 where she is able to keep in touch with the Members and serve as a liaison for the Accounting Department.
